The Innovation Academy at Martin Middle School (IAM) has a mission to provide a diverse and rigorous learning environment, with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) careers, ensuring every student will be able to design, create, and communicate solutions for real world challenges. In the fall of 2015, IAM was established with the goal of better preparing students for a successful high school career and college readiness. IAM does this by providing various enrichment opportunities inside and outside of the classroom, as well as a high level of rigor. IAM has numerous partnerships throughout the business and educational community, including a partnership with the University of Texas.
